Fireworks open Bewdley Carnival’s 100th year
The annual Firework Display opened Bewdley Carnival’s centenary weekend over the River Severn last night, captured from the air by Kidderminster Drone. The carnival itself is today.

The Far Forest Countryside Show returns to the Callow Hill showground on Saturday 8 August, 10am to 5pm. The Welsh Axemen, falconry, classic vehicles, live music and a free park and ride, all included in the ticket price.
Bewdley Carnival turns 100 this June
Bewdley Carnival celebrates its centenary on Saturday 27 June from noon. A century on from the first parade in 1926, expect floats, live performances and family fun, free to attend, with a centenary raffle for a Safari Lodge stay.

Mayor Nicole Harper started the 2026 Bewdley Duck Race at noon on Easter Monday, sending hundreds of yellow rubber ducks down the River Severn from Bewdley Bridge in aid of local charities.
