Visit Bewdley is a curated local guide. Because every single submission is manually reviewed, checked, and formatted by one person, there are a few simple house rules to keep the quality high and the process manageable.
Whether you are adding a local business or an upcoming community event, please read these quick guidelines before filling out the forms below.
General House Rules
- Keep it local: Your business or event must be based in or directly serve the Bewdley community.
- High quality images: Listings and events need a good quality photo. Please ensure you have the right to use the images you upload.
- No spam or aggressive marketing: Keep descriptions informative and helpful. This is a guide, not a billboard.
- Patience is appreciated: I review everything manually. It might take a few days for your submission to go live.
Directory Listings
The directory is for independent businesses, local services, community groups, and public amenities. I want to highlight the places that give Bewdley its character. This includes shops, pubs, tradespeople, and that fantastic little café hidden down a side street. If your business operates entirely outside the area, it will not be listed.
Events Calendar
The events calendar is for public gatherings, live music, workshops, and community activities. Please submit your event at least a week in advance. Regular weekly events are welcome, but please specify the frequency in your description so I can set the calendar up correctly.
The Final Decision
As an independent project, I reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any listing or event at my sole discretion. If a business closes, moves away, or if a submission simply does not fit the community focus of the site, it will be removed to keep the guide accurate and useful.
