Bewdley Dementia Support Group holds a lunchtime drop-in session once a month at St Anne’s Church on Load Street. You are welcome to bring your lunch and eat it there, have a tea or coffee, take part in activities, and listen to or join in with music, dancing and singing. Light refreshments are available and you can stay as long as you like, joining in or simply having a chat.
Carers are able to slip away for around thirty minutes to do some shopping or attend an appointment, with trained volunteers looking after the person living with dementia. This is of course subject to volunteer availability on the day.
Coming dates are 23 September, 21 October and 25 November, each with games. There is no drop-in session in December.
Sessions run on a Wednesday from midday until 2.30pm.
