Bewdley Town Football Club, popularly known as “The Riversiders,” is a non-league football club established in 1978 following the merger of Bewdley Old Boys and Woodcolliers. The club is based at Ribbesford Meadows, a picturesque ground located on the banks of the River Severn. After initially playing at Gardeners Meadow, the club moved to its current home following a significant local fundraising campaign under the guidance of Robert Burns. The ground features a 140-seat stand and floodlighting, facilities that have allowed the club to progress through the regional football pyramid.

Currently competing in the Hellenic League Division One, the first team has enjoyed recent success, including being named the league’s “Team of the Month” for January 2026. As an FA Charter Standard Community Club, Bewdley Town FC operates a comprehensive youth setup, ranging from “Mini-Kickers” to junior and reserve ranks, providing a clear development pathway for local players. The club is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and remains a focal point for sport in the Wyre Forest district.

The matchday experience at Ribbesford Meadows is noted for its family-friendly atmosphere, with spectators often able to hear the roars from the nearby West Midland Safari Park. The club has a rich history of local success, including multiple wins in the Worcestershire Senior Urn and Junior Cup. Facilities at the ground include a clubhouse bar and a tea bar for refreshments. The club also recently launched an online shop in partnership with ACE Embroidery, offering a range of branded apparel for supporters.
