Bewdley Dementia Support Group is holding an afternoon fun show at Wyre Horseways on Sunday 13 September, from 2pm until 4.30pm. It is open to everyone, not only those who come along to the group’s regular sessions.
The classes are supported, so adults and children can join in with the resident horses whatever their experience. There are six, with an interval after the third:
- Best handler, junior and senior
- Best mane and tail
- The pony or horse the judge would most like to take home
- Best decorated tail
- Musical hoops
- Potato and spoon walking race
Entry is £2 a class and every competitor gets a rosette. Fancy dress options are available for children. There is a chance to meet the rescue horses and help with the grooming, and tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are served through the afternoon by donation.
