About this event

Bewdley is a stop on the Source to Sea Severn Way challenge, a fully guided long-distance walk following the River Severn from its source in the Cambrian Mountains all the way to the sea. This section takes on the rewarding day from Bewdley to Worcester, roughly seventeen miles of woodland, riverside path and quiet Worcestershire countryside.

Leaving Bewdley, the route heads through the beautiful Wyre Forest before settling into peaceful riverside walking, finishing in the cathedral city of Worcester with its medieval streets and Severn-side setting. It is a varied and satisfying day out for confident walkers, led by a qualified mountain leader.

The walk sets off on the morning of Wednesday 22 July, with full meeting details and timings sent to participants closer to the date. Places are booked, and further information is available, through the Mountains to the Sea booking form.
