The folk trio Granny’s Attic play St George’s Hall on Friday 27 November, from 7.30pm. Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, George Sansome and Lewis Wood have been touring the UK and Europe since 2009, from Cambridge Folk Festival to Cecil Sharp House, and they bring their high-energy take on English traditional music to Load Street.
Grounded in tradition but happy to push at it, the trio write their own material alongside the old tunes. Their 2025 album Cold Blows the Wind went down well with reviewers and audiences alike, and KLOF Magazine called them “one of the most exciting and accomplished English folk acts on the scene right now.”
Tickets are available from the St George’s Hall box office.
