Fancy having a go at rowing? Bewdley Rowing Club is hosting a Fun Regatta specifically designed for complete beginners. This event features short distance fun racing on the river, providing a perfect introduction to the sport in a supportive community environment.
The regatta is open to teams of four—including Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed crews—for anyone over 16 years old. All necessary equipment and coaching are provided by the club. To prepare for the big day, training sessions with a club member coach and cox start from Saturday 25th April, with a maximum of six training sessions allowed per team.
Beyond the racing, the day promises a full festival atmosphere with a BBQ, disco, bar, and a special prize for the best fancy dress. The winning team will receive medals and free club membership.
