Your Guide to Pride Events Across the West Midlands and Worcestershire in 2026

Posted 27th May 2026

Pride season is well and truly here, and across the West Midlands and Worcestershire there is no shortage of events celebrating the LGBT+ community with colour, music, and genuine warmth. While Bewdley may not have its own Pride event, we fully support the community and wanted to put together a guide to the celebrations taking place on our doorstep in the coming months. Whether you are looking for a full festival experience or a relaxed afternoon in the sun, there is something for everyone.

June

June is the busiest month for Pride in the region, with no fewer than six events taking place across a matter of weeks. Kicking things off on Saturday 6th June are three events happening simultaneously. Wolverhampton Pride takes place in West Park from 14:00 to 20:00, featuring a music stage, food and drink traders, a fun fair, and children’s activities, with a parade route to be confirmed. Over in Shropshire, Bridgnorth Pride returns for its third year, with a rainbow parade along Castle Walk followed by a picnic in the castle grounds starting at midday — a lovely day out for those who enjoy a more relaxed, community-focused celebration. Closer to home, Redditch Pride is also on 6th June, with drag acts, circus workshops, dancing, face painting, live music, and community stalls all on the programme.

The following day, Sunday 7th June, sees Bedworth Pride take place in the town centre, running from midday until 18:00 with food, drink, and licensed vendors. Later in the month, Stoke-on-Trent Pride celebrates its 20th anniversary on 20th June at Hanley Park, bringing together over 100 different organisations for what promises to be a landmark event. June rounds off with a double bill: Oswestry Pride at Cae Glas Park on 27th June, and Coventry Pride returning bigger and better than ever across 27th and 28th June, featuring live performances, community stalls, workshops, panel discussions, and art and exhibitions.

July

July brings a more relaxed pace, with the Walsall Pride Picnic in the Park on 26th July. This free event takes place at the Walsall Arboretum bandstand from midday until 17:00, with live music and an open invitation to bring your own picnic for a laid-back afternoon in good company.

August

August is another packed month. On 8th August, three events share the same date: Stafford Pride, Solihull Pride, and Lichfield Pride, with the Lichfield celebrations continuing into 9th August. Later in the month, Warwickshire Pride Festival takes place on 22nd August, followed by the Walsall Pride Festival on 29th August.

September

Worcestershire’s own flagship celebration, Pride Worcester, takes centre stage on 12th September. As the nearest major Pride event to Bewdley, this is the one we would particularly encourage you to put in the diary. The season then draws to a close with Shrewsbury Pride on the weekend of 26th and 27th September.

What about Kidderminster and Stourport?

We had a look to see if there were any Pride events closer to home in the Wyre Forest area. Kidderminster Pride does exist as an organisation with an active Facebook page, but no date for a 2026 event has been announced at the time of writing. We would encourage anyone interested to follow their page for updates. We found no evidence of a Stourport Pride event at this time.

We will update this post if anything changes locally. In the meantime, whether you are heading to a spectacular festival or a quiet picnic in the park, we hope you have a wonderful Pride season. Love is love, and every celebration matters.
