The beloved Boxing Day Tractor Run is set to return to Bewdley on 26 December 2025. Starting at the Far Forest showground in Callow Hill at 10am, the convoy of decorated tractors will make its way through Stourport before finishing in Bewdley around 12:00 to 12:30pm. The event, which has become a local tradition, attracts crowds from all over Worcestershire and beyond.
Once the tractors arrive in Bewdley, there will be a chance to see the vehicles up close while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Fancy dress is encouraged for participants, with prizes awarded for the best dressed seasonal tractor and occupants. With thousands of spectators attending last year, this year’s run is expected to be even bigger, with the community coming together for a day of family fun and charitable giving.
The event will raise vital funds for two local charities: the Worcestershire Prostate Cancer Support Group and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. Last year, the run raised significant support, with organiser Ray Attwood commenting on the positive atmosphere and the smiles of all those involved.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, road closures will be in place in Bewdley from 10:30am to 2:30pm. The affected areas include:
- Bewdley Bridge (from Beales Corner to Load Street)
- Load Street (from Bewdley Bridge to the junction with High Street)
- Severn Side North (from Bewdley Bridge to Dog Lane)
- Severn Side South (from Bewdley Bridge to Lax Lane)
If you’re planning to visit Bewdley for the Tractor Run, make sure to arrive early to get a good spot to watch the parade. The event is free to attend, but participants can make a minimum £10 donation, with optional additional contributions to support the cause.
For those interested in joining the Tractor Run, online registration is available. To book your place or for more information, contact [email protected] or [email protected].
Support this fantastic community event and make a difference to two deserving charities this Boxing Day!
