Butt Town Caravan Park is a long established holiday home park located on Northwood Lane, situated just 500 yards from the centre of town. The site has been owned and operated by the same family since 1955, celebrating 70 years as a family business. The park is exclusively designed for the over 50s, providing a quiet and secure environment for its residents.
The park accommodates over 90 privately owned static caravans and luxury chalets. It remains open for 11 months of the year, allowing owners extensive use of their properties. Practical facilities include an on site laundry, while the management and maintenance team live directly on the premises to assist with gas supplies and general issues.
Its location offers excellent access to local attractions, with the Severn Valley Railway track running close enough that passing trains can be both seen and heard from the park. The name of the site originates from the 17th century when archers used the area to practice aiming at targets known as butts.
