Max Keen: The Life and Times of Dudley Castle

Historian Max Keen brings the 950-year story of Dudley Castle to life, with a costume change halfway through. Part of the Bewdley Festival, Tuesday 13 October.

Local historian Max Keen tells the story of Dudley Castle, from its Norman beginnings around 1071 to its end in the Civil War and destruction by fire in 1750. Delivered with his trademark light touch, and an on-stage costume change halfway through, it brings 950 years of history to life, with a mystery about a 1980s discovery you will have to attend to solve.

Tickets are on the Bewdley Festival site. Festival talks are usually held at St George’s Hall, so do check the venue when you book.
