The Rajah at 8 Load Street reopened in May 2025, and is said to be the oldest Indian in Bewdley, going back to 1987. The name means royalty in Hindi.
The kitchen cooks Indian and Bangladeshi dishes to order, tandoori through to curries at whatever heat you want, with a vegetarian side to the menu. Between them the chefs are said to have more than 40 years’ experience.
You can eat in, collect, or have it delivered free of charge, and orders go through Just Eat as well. You can book a table by phone.
One thing worth knowing before you go: the restaurant is not licensed, so take your own drink. Glasses are provided.
