St Leonard’s is the ancient parish church for Bewdley and Ribbesford. Grade I listed and dating from the 12th century, it stands in a quiet churchyard not far from the River Severn, with an avenue of lime trees leading away towards Bewdley.
It forms a single Church of England parish with St Anne’s in Bewdley. Sunday services are at 11.15am, with Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month and Matins on the second, third and fourth. All services use the traditional words of the Book of Common Prayer.
The church is always open in daylight hours, and it sits on the Worcestershire Way, so it is a familiar sight to walkers as well as to the parish.
