Opened in May 2024 by local caterer Phill Bennett, the shop took over a former phone shop space and completely transformed it into a welcoming lunch destination. Customers can choose their own fillings for baguettes and sourdough, or opt for health conscious choices like poke bowls and gluten free alternatives. They also offer daily specials, including wraps, and a weekly rotating Fab Five menu. It is an ideal spot to grab a bespoke lunch to take out and enjoy down by the river.
A core part of the business is its commitment to the community and supporting other local traders. All ingredients are sourced locally, with bread supplied by Ashley’s bakery, fresh produce from Bewdley Farm Shop, and meat from Francis and Griffiths Butchers. Phill, whose family has deep roots in Bewdley as former publicans and traders, runs the shop alongside his colleague Lindsey Chance, ensuring a friendly and personal service for every customer.
