Orilla is a modern bar situated at 2 Severn Side South. Opened in December 2024, the venue occupies the space that previously housed the well known S R Lewis fishing tackle shop. The historic Georgian building, dating back to the early nineteenth century, has been completely transformed inside. It features integrated lighting and a resin floor while retaining its traditional frontage for conservation purposes.
The establishment focuses on high quality drinks, serving a carefully curated selection of craft beers, rotating keg ales, fine wines, spirits, and spritzers. As of January 2025, the kitchen began offering a menu of tapas and small plates to complement the drinks. The venue also supports live entertainment, regularly hosting live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
Operated by the same family that runs The Courtyard restaurant next door, Orilla functions independently as a dedicated social venue. During the warmer months, patrons can take advantage of the outdoor seating located directly opposite the River Severn.
