Mrs Darley's Herbal

Mrs Darley’s Herbal is a unique shop run by resident craftsperson Carole Carlton, located in the Saw Yard at Bewdley Museum. Tucked away next to the museum cafe, the shop offers a quiet space for visitors to browse. Before opening the store, Carole spent seventeen years running a complementary health clinic and teaching therapies around the world, bringing a wealth of knowledge to her current business.

The shelves are stocked with a wide variety of items, including fine loose leaf teas, herbal tisanes, and pure essential oils. Customers can also find Bach Flower remedies and incense, making it a great stop for anyone interested in natural wellbeing. Alongside the herbal products, the shop sells beautifully handcrafted pyrography plaques, staffs, runes, and athames.

Carole is not just a shop owner; she is a Reiki master with the UK Reiki Federation and an experienced workshop facilitator. She teaches Reiki courses from the first degree all the way through to master and teacher levels. She is also an accomplished writer, and visitors can pick up copies of her own ‘Mrs Darley’ series of Pagan books directly from the store.

The physical shop is open on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. For those unable to visit in person, Carole runs an online store where her teas and books can be purchased at any time. Whether you are looking for a unique gift, a specific remedy, or just want to explore the handcrafted items, Carole is always happy to share her extensive experience with visitors.
