The Bewdley Institute holds its June folk night on Wednesday 24 June, from 8pm. It is an evening of folk tunes and song around midsummer, with beer, music, and the chance to belt out a ballad and take part in a long tradition.

Instruments are welcome, so bring one along if you play. Pints are £3.85. You will find the Institute at 21 Load Street, in the centre of town.

Bewdley Carnival turns 100 this June

Bewdley Carnival celebrates its centenary on Saturday 27 June from noon. A century on from the first parade in 1926, expect floats, live performances and family fun, free to attend, with a centenary raffle for a Safari Lodge stay.
