One for the diary: the Bewdley Festival Soup Trail returns on Saturday 3 October. It is a proper local foodie day out, where cafés and eateries around town each cook up their own soup, and you buy a ticket, do the rounds tasting them, and vote for your favourite. It sells out most years, so worth grabbing a spot early.
Last year’s title went to the Garden Kitchen. Registration and details come through the Bewdley Festival.
