Bewdley Carnival returns this Saturday, bringing music, costumes and colour back to the town for its annual celebration of local life. Taking place on 28 June 2025, this year’s event promises the familiar mix of a traditional parade and a busy afternoon of entertainment in Jubilee Gardens.
The carnival is a long-standing highlight of the summer calendar, drawing visitors and residents into the centre of town to enjoy decorated floats, community groups, live music, food, stalls and more. The parade is due to follow its usual route through Load Street and the surrounding roads before finishing near Jubilee Gardens, where the main field-based activities will continue throughout the afternoon.
While there are some temporary road closures during the parade itself, the focus for many will be on the community atmosphere and the chance to support local groups, charities and independent traders taking part.
As part of the festivities, The Garden Kitchen will be running a special BBQ in Jubilee Gardens throughout the day — a chance to grab lunch in the middle of the action, with seating, music and a relaxed family-friendly vibe.

Whether you’re part of the parade or just watching from the roadside, it’s a great day to be in Bewdley.
